Is Bishop Prophet H. Walker's protest against Eddie Long called for?

Bishop Prophet H. Walker of the True Light Pentecostal Church in Spartanburg, SC plans to march to Atlanta to demand that Eddie Long resign. Bishop Eddie Long of  the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is accused of sexual coercion of four young men from his congregation. It comes as shock to many because Long has protested against the homosexuals. Needless to say some hilarious comedy has been presented at the church about the topic by comedian Trina Jeffrie AKA Sis Cantaloupe who has done several jokes at his church such as "if you are gay and born that way, then be born again," She also said that a women on the talk show said her friend is coming out the closet,  Sis Cantaloupe says she needs to beat him back in there until he comes out right" but it seems to be no laughing matter when it is potentially the pastor. He has not came out of the closet, but the beans seems to spill with several cases coming forth.
 Has Eddie Long been deceiving his congregation and followers? He did not tell them that he was homosexual and have not echoed on it.   Should Eddie Long resign from his position as pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church? Bishop H. Walker thinks so, and many from the Christian community believe that he should. Should H. Walker march to Atlanta to protest? Is he taking a stand for what is right at any cause or any cost? Daniel took a stand for God in the lions den, and  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abenego took a stand  in the fiery furnace. God brought them out there situations for standing up for him and worshipping him and God was there with each of them. Daniel was not eaten by the lions in the den. Shadrach, Meshach and Obenego, was not harmed in the fiery furnace because God was there with, and gave them that assurance. If Walker is doing it for the Lord he shouldn't he be fine because it is a great cause and the Lord is with him. On the other hand some people believe Walker's motive for the protest is  money or fame which is a an extreme cost for publicity.  Should Walker protest because Eddie Long is giving the wrong interpretation for Christian standards, and doing so in hypocrisy and participating abominable acts? Bishop H. Walker also claims the title prophet.  Is there is something good to be produce out of doing the protest? Prophets sometimes are able to see things pertaining to the future because of their keen gifting from the Lord. What do you all think? Should Bishop H. Walker protest?

Playing Musical tunes into the Subconscious Mind

Many many musicians are paid continuously to develop jingles and tunes for the popular advertisements  and commercials that you see on an everyday basis on tv, internet, radio, and the list goes on. With these jingles, chords and songs whether good or bad, they are tapping into the emotions of many people. These repetitious phrases and things will cause you to embed the songs into your spirit emotion, thus later producing the effect through actions. For instance, some of the actions could include buying more than what your budget can hold, going to the store and shopping for things that you did not have in mind, and sometimes it is the action of behaving out of character.  As Christian we are to display lives that are positive and pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ, and sensitive to his voice by praying, being alert, and guarding our eye gates and ear gates according the holy word of God. Be careful to not be grasped as a victim of the tactics planted by the enemy through jingles tunes.

Looping in Musical Recording

Loops are usually a shorten section of up to four musical bars that you would repeat throughout a song. The looping in sequencing means something a little different than the way loop is used in conjunction with the musical recording term "Sampling". In all cases it means playing the same material over and over again. In sampling, you loop a portion of the waveform, so you can make a sound hold while a key is depressed. In "Production" you use a Loop as a pre-recorded snippet of sound that loops over and over, usually a specified amount time. Sequencer looping is closer to the latter and is actually related through MIDI  because you are repeating the information, not merely the same sound over and over.

Rulers in Musical Recording

Most audio recording software includes some type of ruler. A ruler is a scale used for measuring the time either in seconds, beats, or some other scale.  In MIDI it is usually named "Bars/Beats" you will usually see "inch" marks for the bars (beat 1 of each measure) and fraction marks for beats. Almost always there will be counter, usually on the Transport that shows your exact position such where the cursor is in whichever time scale you have selected. While the ruler may only show you bars and beats depending on how far you have zoomed in, a  counter will typically show you down to the tick level. In Cubase, when the ruler is set to bars + beats, the counter shows the location as bar:beat:sixteenth:tick. A value of 02:02:01:60 signifies the cursor is in measure 2, beat 2, first 16th, 60 ticks in which for you music types is the 43rd , 32nd note into the piece. The number of beats and sixteenths will of course change with the meter, but the parts per quarter note will remain the same.

Metronome in Musical Recording

Most MIDI Sequencers give you some method of playing to Tempo by using a Metronome or Click Track, which are both something that produce a steady sound (beep or click) to play against. Long ago, you had to use a physical Track on which a click sound would be at first created, then later just progressed into the events of what is now called "Click Track". Now these are virtual in that they do not even actually take up track space on the sequence. Most of the time the Click are the same as whatever the beat is such 120 BPM, you will hear 120 clicks per minute or 1 every 500ms, etc. Modern devices may allow you to use a different scale for your Click. For example,  you might want to hear 8th notes being clicked if the tempo is slow. The click track typically uses one of your MIDI Channels to produce sound.  Traditionally, drum/percussion sounds are put on channel 10, and the click is set to that channel as well. You can set it to any channel you want, but for consistency it is best to use channel 10. You are  usually offered the option of having a count-off wherein the clicks for a number of measures are usually 2 before recording begins. Additionally, you may the option of hearing the click either only while recording, only during playback, both or neither(off). Knowing where the beat location is important in MIDI because of quantization. Quantization will be dicussed in another upcoming post.

Musical Tempo and Meters

MIDI devices are primarily used by musicians to make music, time is basically expressed in terms of Beat Per Minute (BPM). The speed of the beats are called Tempo. A tempo of 60 bpm signifies that there are 60 beats per minute. That is because of there are the same number of seconds,  which means one beat per second.  You may calculate other time relationships, such as 120 bpm which is 2 beats per second, or 1 beat per half second. There is the concept of doubling and dividing/halfing the numbers.

Meters also group beats into units called "Measures", and the number of "Beats per Measure"(NOT BPM). The measures are in meters which represents in music by a Meter Signature or Time Signature. These are written in a fraction format. Here is an example, 4/4 which is a meter of 4 beats per measure.  The top number represent the beats and bottom represents the measures. 4/4 Meter means there are 4 beats in a measure, and 1/4 quarter note gets one beat. This means if the Tempo is 120 BPM, each quarter note which is a beat is a half-second long, there will be two per second, and a measure of 4 quarters will last 2 seconds.

There is a relationship between beat, bpm, and minutes, so with a little math, any tempo can be calculated. In beats though, using fractions smaller than 16th notes gets a little cumbersome, musicians do not use them that much at all. So instead, most devices use something called"tick" or clock value. Ticks are measured in parts per quarter notes (ppqn). For example, a ppqn of 480 means there are 480 units parts per quarter note and 120 per 16th note.  Notice that 480 can be divided by 60. This means more whole numbers will flow, and it will be able to come out in seconds, when an even will happen in musical time.

MIDI channel, Multi-timbrals, Tracks, and Parts

MIDI uses 16 Channels on which to transmit/receive information. There are also discrete pathways just like a track and a mixer Channel, but a MIDI Channel and a Mixer Channel are not the same. Track 1 always goes with Mixer Channel 1. You can assign the data being recorded, or the data being played back on Track 1 to come in/go out MIDI Channel 1, but it could use any MIDI Channel. For instance, if you are do not know how to play piano that well,  you might record the RH part on Track 1, and the LH part on Track 2. Still you could assign both of them to MIDI Channel 7, if you would like, and of course your MIDI instrument would be set to play a piano sound on Channel 7.
Devices that can receive information from multiple Channels are called Multi-Timbral and can play up to 16 sounds, stored in 16 locations called "Parts" that are in a 1:1 relationship. Therefore, in a MIDI Sequencer, MIDI Instrument, each Part has a MIDI Channel that stays with it, however any sound may be put on any Part.

News about abominable lifestyle of Pastor Jim Swilley

Pastor Swilley confessed in service at his church to his congregation that he is homosexual. He reverted back to being abused at four years old. He says he wanrs to continue pastoring, but is forced by the governing denominational church body to step down from the bishop position. He expressed the situation about Eddie Long made him want to come out publicly. His wife was aware of the orientation during the 21 years of marriage, and thought it would eventually work out. At the service of confession,  she appeared in the service as a Gothic person even in attire. Swilley and his wife appeared very angry, and his wife came up and to speak on the situation and cursed used other profanity freely during the service.  Swilley needs help, so remember to pray for him because he still continues on with the church, but he has unbelief of God's deliverance power and to continue on leading people with limits on God's power. After 39 years of preaching he says he decided to gather another perception differently to the stories in the bible that he acknowledges to preaching many times before. He says he do not want to hear about Leviticus and other books to contradict his lifestyle.  He also portrays the story in Genesis about Lot's wife saying that is about gang rape. His assertions and new found doctrines to story correlate to the abuse that he received as a child leading to the current situation. He is the pastor, but needs to step down and receive help, now that he is opened up his situation. Pray for his eyes to be open to the truth. He is currently deceived.

Crepitus popping joints

Crepitus is the crackling effect of the joints when air bubbling passes in the joints. This is the sign that has sometimes of friction due to wear, tear, overuse and extended use of the joints. Many people feel that it can be avoided if taught proper technique of activities such as playing piano, guitar and typing etc. Many people develop crepitus, but the main thing is to not make it a habit of cracking the joints for an activity. The crepitus occurrence can show up in the wrist and elbows, knees, toes and several other places. In some cases in very imperative not to continuously pop or crack the joint, to prevent excessive damage or wear and tear. It is not a double joint. Some people see will notice the long term effects as they age because of the deterioration that occurs. Sometimes the effect can produces pain. The carpal tunnel is the associated condition with inflammation, numbness, swelling, of the wrist joints from the median. Some people get surgery, but the crepitus is curable with proper diet, rest and praying. God Bless and good health!!!

Vibrato in Singing and Instruments

Vibrato is bend or fluctuation between pitches. This tactic is used in singing. It is also called tremolo.  It is similar to the sound of Hammond organ when paired with a Leslie speaker. The Leslie gives the sound the vibrato like whirling effect. Vibrato is an tactic that singers practice which is a very beneficial sound. To establish vibrato you will need to practice before you are able to achieve pure vibrato. It is imperative to practice. Some vibratos are not authentic. Vibrato builds over time.  Real vibrato is gradually and comes  after the notes has been held or sustained for a period of time. Vibrato is similar to the keyboard component called the pitch bend. The pitch bends the pitch up or down. On some keyboards you hold down the keys organ and the vibrato builds. The vibrato is rather slow in the beginning, then it speeds up and becomes faster after notes are held for a while. This very is a similar effect and comparison of the vocal vibrato which is achieved at the heart of holding a note.

WOW Juanita Bynum Adds Male Suffix "II" to her name "Juanita BynumII?

Juanita Bynum is considered a evangelist, prophetess who has been very controversial. She appeared sincere in the beginning of her ministry, but when she starting seeking fame and fortune more than the preaching uncompromising  gospel of Jesus Christ, her life took a turn in host of downhill misfits . Juanita Bynum married Bishop Thomas Weeks. The couple enjoyed a luxurious wedding costing over millions of dollars,  but less than five years later they divorced. Thomas Weeks is a pastor of a large church. Juanita and Thomas were both poor representations of the gospel and assumed the role of hypocrites displayed through character and several YouTube videos. Juanita Bynum has a video about getting ready to throw a brick at someone, and saying that she is like a bulldog amongst others things, and Weeks has videos as well twisting the scripture, and he also did a court show which was very fleshly and worldly and filled with profane languae and obscenity. According to the admission of both Bynum and Weeks, they were in the relationship for purposes of take advantage of each other. Juanita Bynum wanted to promote her media, dvds, cds and books, and wanted marketing tactics to boost sales. Weeks wanted the popularity of having the celebrity wife amongst other things.  Juanita Bynum speaks in a video of having to defend Weeks by attempting to throw a brick which is very much poor character for a someone who is supposed to be disciplened in the things of God.  She is actually much more aggressive than Thomas Weeks, but suprisingly she divorced her him for alleged domestic abuse. She actually could have probably beat him. The domestic assault was possibly a stunt. According to her ex husband Thomas Weeks she was trying  to get on the Oprah show at any cost, which up to the present time has failed. Juanita Bynum started her own movement in a warehouse about 2 years ago, as she does not want it to be identified as a church. She has made a lot of changes contrary to what she said previously even through old tapes. She previously spoke firmly and held standards that Christians and embraced holy living. In early famed ministry she spoke of that Christians are not supposed to sing and listen to worldly that glorifies the flesh. She said that many worship leaders mimick artist that she called out  Mary J. Blidge and Snoop Dogg. Now years later, Juanita Bynum appeared with Angie Stone and many others that are secular sinners. She actually now freely has fellowship with unfruitful worker of darkerness. This is a clear contradiction.

In the video entitled "Renewed Covenent" Juanita Bynum bowed down to Td Jakes as if he was God, and he said her sins has been forgiven.  He anointed her ahead, and she has been down hill ever since. It is very important to be careful who lays hand on you. It is spiritual germs.  TD Jakes is actually involved a lot of filth. He has false doctrines incorporate into his messages.  Td Jakes  also denies Jesus as being the only way. He  passes the opportunity to stand up for truth, but a true Christian would have stood up and proclaimed on Larry King show that Jesus is the only way. John 14 gives us clear reference that Jesus is the only way. Td Jakes assumes the role of being the famous preacher, yet he denies Jesus in front of men. Jesus said if you would be ashamed of him before men, he will be ashamed you before his father in heaven. TD Jakes has all type of filthiness at the Megafest and other shows. He sold tickets for the megafest to introduce Steve Harvey to entertain. He also invites secular artist to give concerts because this is not ministry. Sinners cannot lead people to Jesus Christ if they do not know. TD Jakes also has videos singing "Getting hot in here" which is a secular song pertained to sex, and having sex in many positions and places.  He was assumed to be one of Juanita Bynum spiritual fathers. She is now doing the "No More Sheets" conference under his permission.

Juanita Bynum had an old friend Tashania Blackwell who was with her in earlier beginnings at Td Jakes conferences, now she is not with her at all. Juanita Bynum did a TBN Mother's Day in 07 special and invited guests her Mother-n-Law " Dr. Leona Brown"on the show, and there was a lot of displayed tension conveyed between there relationship, and they were putting on versad relationship. It was not real and very tensed with all the evil stares from her mother-n-law. Anybody could see through unauthencity of  it, even without a microscope.  Thomas Weeks's mother said she wanted to be the person for Juanita to confide in because she did not want Juanita disclosing things about her son. Three months later an event was publicized that Thomas Weeks was accused of beating Juanita Bynum.  Thomas Weeks was convicted domestic assault. Juanita went through a divorce from him. They both have been married before.  In actuality they both were misrepresentations of the gospel.  Juanita  often now makes mockery of the old churches similar to the ones that she used to preach  with Mother Boyd and Mother Dupree. Juanita Bynum has now become affliated with new age doctrines introduced her new teachings. Juanita Bynum has one subscription on her YouTube page, and that is Oprah as her only subscription. Juanita bynum keeps her hand in a pyramid shape and secret hand signals while talking. She is in a sorority. Juanita Bynum embraces secret organizations fraternities and sororities. She also assumes the role introducing kids to these practices with her academy program. The word of God talks about not passing our children through the fire. Juanita Bynum is very controversial. Juanita Bynum looks rather wild with the long wig that she is wearing which actually looks appears wild, dry, bushy and very ridiculous.  Juanita Bynum wore her wedding dress on her 50th birthday, and declares herself to be Juanita Bynum II holding a sword. She was doing an initiation for her secret organization. Juanita Bynum declares to be Juanita Bynum II, which is actually the title for a man.  There is no way around it.  She gathers up an irrational excuse to defend the reason why she now names herself the Juanita Bynum II.   Juanita Bynum's mother said that the minute she finds out that Juanita Bynum has changed,  she is leaving and not following her. I would think that Juanita Bynum's mother "Mother Katherine Bynum" would have spiritual discernment to know that her daughter sadly is not right anymore, but it is either the money or something else because she still continues to follow her.  Thomas Weeks said that Mother Bynum was getting dementia, and I do not know how the statement is. Thomas Weeks wears the bow tie and is controversial as well.  Thomas Weeks married another lady who is a so called prophet, and they are tapes of her on YouTube asking people for information about themselves that she should know claiming the title prophetess. The new wife claims to have known nothing about Juanita previously which is not likely.  I love Juanita Bynum, but these issues must be addressed because she is very controversial and it stands in the way of sinners. Shamefully, telelevangelists and singers are the people that world looks to hope,  many of them start out preaching no valid, no comprimising solid truth, then later on they start twisting the message and deceiving the masses because the numbers that flock to their name.  I pray that Juanita denouces the new age doctrines and things that she has embraced.

Kim Burrell Gospel to Secular Music, and from Assistant to Senior Pastor?

Kim Burrell who is known to be a gospel singer distinguished for her melismas, and scats.   Burrell recently went secular according to her own admission and several YouTube videos, in particular the interview on YouTube with Krishnar Lewis which Kim Burrell stated "It takes a person like Krishnar Lewis to come into your life and give it meaning". Kim Burrell also performed for Whitney Houston appearing in rather seductively she braced secular musical selection entitled "I believe in you and Me". Burrell also performed with Alicia Keys who is  a 5 percenter, not a Christian. Kim Burrell performed Alicia Key's secular song, but rendered a change to the song and that was not ministering, but rather taking songs off Baal's alter and trying to offer to God which is a point of deceit. What fellowship has light and darkness. Christian are in the world, but are to not be of the world. The devil is actually conning and tries to make thing look good. Everything and door that opens  is not from God, so be careful.  Later on the same year, Kim Burell also started her own church to become pastor, previously she was the assistant pastor at Jericho City Church of God in Christ where gospel singer Bettye Nelson's son Brian Nelson is pastor. I do pray for Kim Burrell, as she has done a little of the opposite of what she said would never do because on YouTube she said that she was a church girl and would never sing the secular according her interview on Carmen on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Also she makes short references to it in a video interview with Donnie McClurkin speaking of no compromising. Kim Burrells changed her mind. The love of money and fame often changes their minds. The love of money is the root of all evil.

When to use Melismas?

Singers often use too many melisma in their songs. Mainly melisma should be sung a stressed point. It gives the soulful sound to the song. Often times, singers mimic other idolized singers which is a very amateur thing to do. Instead of being a replica of another person's voice, mimic the sound of piano, flute etc. or certain instrument. There are many musicians and singers who get caught up with wanting to sound like another person. Be an original, and it will stand out. When you sing, develop the song and gradually build. Exemplify strong pureness in your tones. Utilize songs that minister and touches the heart. The melody is an important component of a song, and if people leave a concert program with no melody, they have forgotten the song. That is why is important to keep your songs pure and simple. If you keep it pure and develop occasional melismas, you will grow, and it is more natural. Often times singer get caught up with overdoing it. Focus on the melismas at stressed points. The key thing is if the model of pureness and connection is conveyed, you will not have to feel for the melisma, because it will flow in the song. Professional singers, music coaches and teachers, know when singers have a planned moment of thinking to do a melisma because it usually does not come out as naturally, and the flow is not connected.  Although it is alright to do melismas consistently in practice to develop, know when to use them for balance.
